Drawing Revision

Drawing revision is quite common on a project and it is not un-common for a drawing to go through several revisions. This increases the danger in Consultants and Sub-contractors working with superseded drawings. Therefore it is important to have a central repository that shows only the Latest Drawing Revision. The QDMS software application is used by many Companies to automatically maintain only the Latest Drawing Revision in it's master document register. It also makes it easy to transmit the latest drawing revision to consultants and sub-contractors.

Drawing register acts as a central repository for all the incoming drawing revisions in the system. Drawing revisions are classified according to projects and disciplines in the drawing register.
